is a site where you can read Martin Stockman's poetry.

My poems, collated here, were penned at various moments since 1981, and explore themes of love,  alienation, eroticism, music, London and cricket. "More than this, I know there's nothing."

Prompted by the kind reaction of friends and strangers to my poetry performance on Trafalgar Square's Fourth Plinth in 2009, (as part of Anthony Gormley's brilliant art project,) I set up this site as a place to curate my rhyming reflections, rants and abstractions.

The muse strikes erratically. Far from prolific I sometimes spends years between odes. Sometimes minutes. The style is unashamedly amateur, the content enthusiastically confessional.

Thanks for visiting,

Much love, Martino x
